fork cute...

I've really been digging Max's Born Free video.  The apocalyptical look of him riding around the Bay is some of the best riding footage I think I've ever seen and his words brief, yet effective.  From the first time we met I've always thought of him as a very articulate person, everything he say's seems to just plain make sense. Topics like skateboarding or choppers, both yield a feeling difficult to describe because you have to actually "live it" in order to truly know what makes them special but he somehow always seems to have a way of putting it into words so relatable that you can do nothing but sit back and think "whoa...nailed it on the head."

You know those old guys you meet on the street or in a dark corner of a bar that just look and sound like they've done it all and seen it all, and after talking to, you walk away feeling a little more enlightened and even more convinced that you will never be as cool as them? Well, Max.....I think you're well on your way to becoming that cool.

@4q69 #69mileride

our daily coffee shop lineup

it's hard to be bummed waking up to this

heavy metal

Big man, small bike...Max's friend Casey tried the knuckle on for size.
Nice to meet you dude and congrats on the weight loss brotha.

6 dudes and 5 dead phones...Instagram moment blown.

The line up

she was sitting shotgun.

Jamie getting those extreme angles

wardrobe malfunction...sorry whoever was behind me.

Max's 38. This thing feels as rad as it looks.

Its hard to soar with Turkey when you're surrounded with eagles

Traveling 400+ miles just to go on a "69" mile ride might sound stupid to some but for me and the small crew that came up with me it was more than that. Now don't get me wrong, the bar and the ride out to it in Port Costa is totally rad with some killer scenery but for me, hanging out with old friends and meeting new ones is the best part. We all tend to get a little wrapped up in the digital world and sometimes you forget how nice it is to exchange words and a handshake with someone face to face and this weekend involved alot of that. Add some quality miles and hangout sessions with said friends and you got a recipe for success. Once again I neglected to take alot of photos so this is all you get from me.

Good seeing you Jason, Josh, the Busby family, Kelly and everyone else. Thanks Turkey, Troy, Chris and Jamie for being down to come up and lastly, Thanks Max for putting us up and putting up with us.

See you next year

69ing in Oakland

Max rescheduled the 69er to this weekend and sorry, but there won't be an ATR kissing booth this year.

it's that time again....

Max is hosting his 69 mile ride again next weekend. If you can make it, be there....just be prepared to be out ridden by a bunch of chicks.

I never realized how much I hated myself till now.
The rest of the movie should be pretty cool though.

wine 'em, dine 'em, 69 'em...

living quarters

Brandon was buzzing around on this killer survivor digger

too legit

Michaels shovel looking all proper like

Nick and Jason getting real cozy

In The Wind is probably the best ever

the Porta Costa Polar Bear was a little intimidating

my bike not barking on command

clean as a whistle

we all know why Nicks smiling

chasing rain and a double rainbow on the ride home

Rad weekend. Slept on Max's floor, woke up to hot cocoa and took a ride through the hills of east bay. I almost was "the guy who crashed this year" coming in hot on a muddy corner, somehow managed to Steve Mcqueen out of if it looking like a pro...speaking of Steve Mcqueen, Nick had a blast too. The chicks up there ride hard, if not harder than some of the guys. Jason Mcafee is a rad dude, Toby and Sara always pleasant, Brandon is charming, and Max is always cool and a gracious host. Thanks again for having us guys.
