Lazy Flank.....
sounds weird but this doesn't bug me as much as it used to.
no CNC laser cutters here, just flammable flannels.
I cut up a Van Gogh for the template.
113.7 inches of 3/8 bar. 36 cans of Coke.
I was planning on taking a break from consuming myself with garage antics after the last Born Free show. All I wanted to do was log some summertime miles with my pals.
Enter Nick's shovelhead...
We were all stoked on the pickup truck qualities of it - tools, extra gas, superior 2 up capabilities...but we all knew the day would come where it fell victim to the chopping block. Loose plans were made and decided Crazy Franks are cool but cost about half of what Nick paid for the bike. I thought "3 sides with a little kick in the back with a built in taillight , shouldn't be too crazy right?"...errr...wrong, Frank was nuts. I don't know how the pros make it look so easy. After that the biggest thing was relocate the upper shock mount to make the early swingarm sit parallel with the bottom of the frame (mega ground clearance). Everything else was the standard stuff, made some bars, mid pegs, headlight blah blah...Just gotta get some over tubes and the seat covered. Now i just gotta figure out how to get one for myself.

Womby...
nice shirt dude.
My buddy Ryan plays in a little band called Bleeding Through. Last year in between being on the road, he started messing around with paint to kill time. Looks like he's not messing around anymore.
Check out his world-

uh....
I really have no idea how my name got put into the hat, but it looks like I'm going to Brazil in October.
Besides a little internet chit-chat, I had not met Paulo or Eddie until Born Free 3. Super friendly dudes who share the same disease we all suffer from...motorcycles. I've always liked what they got going on and for some reason they like what we got going on. These guys are really going to great lengths to put Brazil on the chopper map and I feel pretty honored to be a part of the bike show they're putting on.
Thanks again..

Mumma's chopper...
A little while ago I helped my buddy Chris with some doodads for his shovel project and its finally coming together. He should be on the road real soon.
He also happens to be part of the local talent so if you ever get a chance to see him or his older brother Tyler skating be prepared for some seriously smooth, high speed shredding.

ruler..
Jay stopped by tonight to talk shit and grab some In-n-Out.
I'd seen Jay around the swapmeet for a few years but never approached him because of my social retardation. It wasn't until I first saw his freshly completed panhead a couple years ago that we actually spoke. The bike itself is badass but the sissybar is what gets me everytime, it's got this melting Salvador Dali thing going on thats so weird but so perfect. I can't help but to bring it up everytime I see him.
Besides having a killer bike, he's genuinely just a straight up cool dude who's not afraid to crack a joke at his or anyone else's expense and that's the way we like it over here.
